gift cards & delivery charges
Unfortunately there is no way of splitting digital purchases and physical purchases at checkout and so any free delivery options will apply to mixed orders if the threshold has been met.
As Gift cards are sold at face value, this leaves the potential for a customer completing with a mixed digital/physical basket getting free delivery with just a couple of physical items added and so no margin to actually give free delivery.
Also the receiver of the gift card would naturally claim free delivery once they use it above any threshold.
I suggest a solution where gift cards are shown separately at checkout, maybe after the subtotal and delivery charges are calculated so it does not interfere with the other physical goods calculation.
