Finally Correct Long Term Issue of Incorrect VAT Calculation on Delivery
Been asking for this to be done correctly for approx 7/8 years now. EKM system has never correctly calculated VAT on delivery when a shop sells a mix of zero and standard-rate VAT products. This means we have to check and correct the VAT on every single EKM order we ever receive before uploading into our accounts package. Such a waste of time. Can't understand why EKM have never addressed this issue. I've never been given a rational argument for sweeping this system flaw under the carpet for years. They never seem to understand how VAT is supposed to be calculated and always seem disinterested as most of their customers don't sell a mix of zero and standard rated products.

Vince SullyTo my understanding, if the order contains any tax the delivery may also be taxable at the highest rate of vat charged, this is configurable under the delivery settings.
Please explain what you actually require if this is incorrect. -

Roger WiddowsonRebecca. It depends on who you ship with. Some Royal Mail international services have VAT included in their price and full control in this regard would be very useful. Delivery methods are time consuming to setup depending on what ethos you use in shipping to your customers.
