Improve Abandoned Cart recoding to record recoverable and non recoverable activity
The current abandoned cart system only records carts that are recoverable, i.e. where the user has entered an e-mail address and can then be e-mailed a reminder.
I propose this system should also measure non-recoverable abandoned carts as this gives the shop owner a truer measure of
1. Real shop activity - more effective than the page visits stat.
2. What products customers are possibly planning to purchase.
3. What products customers are doing price comparisons on incl shipping.

Eve Bolan AdminHi Michael, the current Abandoned Cart system only works as long as the customer has added their email address; at this point, the system has the details to contact them if the order becomes abandoned. To see real-time shop activity, you may want to install GA4 on your EKM online shop by following the steps in this Guide: https://support.ekm.com/support/solutions/articles/44002422686 - this would provide the data you're looking for. :)

Michael MortimerHello Eve, GA4 does not provide the information I need, The abandoned cart system on my old shop was much better, I could see what products customers were placing in the cart and not checking out with, I could then review those items and make sure the shipping and pricing was correct etc. As far as I can the the GA4 system can not deliver this level of detail. Bonkers that EKM can't do it.
