More configuration of stars, ratings and reviews on all templates

I'm using Marathon template and got a tweak to show the stars on the main category rather than just on the product item (some templates already show the stars everywhere).
It would be good to be able to configure the reviews section in more detail on all templates:
* Choose which pages to show the stars.
* Choose whether or not to show "based on x number of reviews" where the stars are shown.
* Change the star colour.
