Better menu management - be able to arrange categories menus manually not jsut alphabetically

Be able to mangage category and page placement in navigation menus so that I can order them as I want. At the moment there is no option other than a tweak, so losing the benefit of bug updates etc. This just seems like a really basic facilty for an ecommerce solution.
