Improvements to EKM Email Marketing - Edit Personal Details GDPR

Understand there is only a link between ekmshopwebsite>ekmresponse, if the ekmresponse account was created via the Account "Consent Checkout Opt-in Permission" not via " Consent Email Address Confirmation". So a possible loop hole exists, if a person signs initially up to Email Marketing (By submitting their email). Then Subsequently creates an order &account with website (and if they sign up again it may or may not create another duplicate listing in ekmresponse) the accounts are not linked ekmresponse>ekmshopwebsite.

So if a person (possibly under GDPR) tries to update what appears to be their "personal details" by clicking on the update prompt at end of email, it does not update the account details on one's ekmshopwebsite due to non linked accounts.
Suggestions:
1) Ideally if one could link accounts best. With warning/flags when duplicate marketing signups occurs
2) In Interim (esp if no do (1)) a Warning is provided to applicable users to update their WEBSITE DATA too-see image
