Subscription Based Payments
We need a Payment method that allows for repeat payments which will allow shops to sell subscription only Products. Ideally, this would also have the option for deposit/pre-order payments too, allowing shops which sell high demand Products with a specific release date to take payments before that release date.

SheldonIt's not so much the payment processor as many of them offer this service, it's how they integrate with the EKM system, and how say a monthly / weekly payment when made appears as an order. Customers will need to be able to select frequency, change product, put account on hold etc. I sell fresh roasted coffee and enjoy many repeat customers, and this would make their experience so much easier, as at the moment they have to go through the entire purchasing process each and everytime they order.

Steve JarvisBeen asking and waiting for this for probably about 2 years now and you have to wonder how many sales may have been lost due to this feature still not being available.
Been waiting on the Klarna Slice It, plus there's PayPal Credit, Pay4Later, GoCardless, Layaway Plan & more and all my competitors use at least one of these.
Spreading the costs is a MUST for higher priced products to increase sales. -

Dave DallardSubscription Services would be great - allow the customer to place an order for "one box of this per month until I say stop". EKM could pre-warn the customer every month that they're about to be charged for their subscription and then once payment captured, the automated order will just appear as if the customer placed the order themselves. Perhaps allow sellers the option to include in the pre-warn email the option to suspend their subscription for one month also...

ChrissieI would like to do chocolate subscription boxes, will have to transfer over to a different provider if EKM don't work on this soon.

Steve JarvisAdditional message to add to this as of today regarding Klarna's Slice It feature.
Word from Klarna:
"Slice It.... Unfortunately, we cannot offer this product through the EKM platform at this present time. We are continually working towards having this option for EKM Powershop store owners in the future, however, there is currently no integration available for this."
That's disappointing.
All I know is that EKM have the V12 Finance option available but V12 don't seem to get the best reviews -

Matt Nel MergedHi
It would be great if you can add a subscription model so once setup (weekly, fortnightly, month) payments can be taken. -

Gareth Roystoncouldnt agree more, we need a subscription/pre order function to make items more affordable to the customer rather than paying the full amount upfront

Jack TownsendHopefully, something can get sorted for this soon as increasing amounts of customers are wanting to offer this.

Eve Bolan AdminYou can set up Subscriptions via Stripe using the steps in this Guide: https://support.ekm.com/support/solutions/articles/44001822657 :)

AlexSubscriptions via Stripe are no good - they have to be set up manually via the Stripe website!
Every product/Customer/subscription has to be set manually and linked to every product on EKM...
If you've got thousands of products/customers/subscriptions... this is ridiculous!
You have to manually monitor each subscription and process each payment manually every X days (depending on subscription length).
Is this really the 21st century? This is a JOKE! EKM competitors offered this for years! -

ChrisThis is something I would really like on my website however seems no way of doing it.

MarkThis is definitely something that needs looking at. I appreciate Stripe can provide subscriptions but in order for this to be a worthwhile setup it needs to be integrated within EKM rather than the manual process it is now.

ChrisJust to add that I have set up recurring payments with my PSP, Cardstream. I can set the payments to be taken at a frequency that suits the customer. At the moment, though, I have to set up a reminder in a Calendar app and then manually copy an order within EKM, or create a new order for the customer. So for anyone who wants this feature, it is doable, just not the easiest.

JessieThis too is something we could really benefit from. All of our competitors offer this and so we are falling behind and loosing business to other companies
-

JazzIt would be good to be able to set up a subscription service whereby payment can be taken monthly, and without it being a plug in to another service that takes people away from your site.

RossHaving come across this, I, seemingly like quite a few other EKM customers here, am a bit disappointed. We were told prior to onboarding with EKM that Stripe subscription integration was possible. But for a business that is focusing on volume business by subscription, the workaround mentioned above is impractical. Also seems that EKM suggest is a place where ideas come to die. Comes across as a graveyard of ideas rather than a lively and active section of EKM as one would expect.
