Adding a Word Count in Description to Improve SEO

When adding a new product there currently is not a word count. However, if you go into the analytics feature the category Product Description states that you need 250 Words. I think it would be beneficial to have the word count when creating the product. We don't always need 250 words but having a word count to see how much you are writing could be more beneficial and eliminate the lengthy process of finding out.
