As HMRC expect all VAT returns from April 2019 to be submitted via the use of 3rd party software for businesses with a turnover of £85K and over, isn't there an urgency for A RANGE of accounting integration packages to be available via EKM? Xero, sage , quickbooks etc ? IF we are looking to choose a package in order to comply with HMRC, then it makes sense to select one that also is user friendly with the EKM interface.

We have been running Xero for some time. Integration will really help small businesses cope with invoice and payment reconciliation, letting us focus on our customers. Definitely gets our vote.

The EKM Xero integration solution is very limited, and having previously had integrations via an OpenCart platform, the EKM solution works in a different way which doesn't provide us with what we need. The EKM integration matches customer records by postcode, which is a very odd criteria, as this often isn't unique to the customer. It would be great to see a Xero integration matched by customer email, which will always be unique. Also, to have an integration that updates Xero at regular intervals during the day rather than just once overnight would make this feature very much more attractive. We've had to make additional investment with a 3rd party for a workable solution.
