Seperate stock control for trade customers and retail customers

As a business we supply both retail and trade, with products that we produce ourselves. We like to dispatch items to retail buyers within a matter of days, but our trade orders have a turnaround time of 2-4 weeks, to allow us to build the stock.
We need to be able to have 20-30 of one item available to buy for our trade customers, at the same time as having 2 or 3 of that same item available for our retail buyers.
We need to be able to have a separate stock system for our customers with trade accounts to those who purchase retail. We currently have to use two websites for this so this changed would be of great help to us.
