Multi-Step product options/variations form

Problem:
On our website, our products are made to order and custom, with a lot of choices to make. This gives us a lot of dropdowns boxed and goes way below the product images. This created a big blanks space between the product images and the product description below and interrupts the flow of the web page.


Solution:
It would be great if, when adding options / variations to a product, We could group them into separate groups. On the front end, this would result in the product options being in a multistep form with a progress bar at the top that customers have to progress through.

I feel this would slow users down a little and get them to read more into the choices they make on our website rather than being presented with loads from the get go.


I know with a bit of custom code, WooCommerce can allow you to do this, and I think it would be a great addition to the EKM platform.
