search tags within products

To be able to add a few search tags to each product, which would then show as results when a customer searches for certain words. I have numerous products which would benefit from this function.
e.g I have a product called sleepy, which contains lavender. I don't want to have the word Lavender in the product title, but when a customer searches for "Lavender", I would like it to show in the results.
