Merge products in Advanced Inventory Manager

It would be very helpful (for us anyway) to have a function that would allow us to tick a few items in Advanced Inventory Manager then merge them into one item with the selected items as variants.
Once you have ticked all of the items from the AIM list necessary, you could hit a 'Merge Items' button, then you would be asked what you would like to name the new product containing the previously selected variants. All variants would preferably retain their attributes and prices etc. within the new parent product created.

Whilst this is not possible for best practice reasons, if you want to list several similar products together, you could use list them in the same Category and use the Related Products feature, and it would also be worth taking a look at the Product Bundles feature too: https://support.ekm.com/support/solutions/articles/44002271065 for items that are not the same but can still be listed together. :)
