Integration with Royal Mail - limit the characters in each Name and Address field

Please would it be possible to limit the characters in each Name and Address field to 30 characters within EKM to allow the integration into Royal Mail.

We are using EKM to integrate orders into Mintsoft, a warehouse/fulfillment management system, and the addresses coming through from EKM are too long to then integrate from Mintsoft to RM.
