Product Order in Cart

We would really appreciate the ability to make the products in the Cart and Order Emails appear in alphabetical order please. We have almost 6000 products so when someone has ordered multiple products from different categories it's a lot more difficult for our manufacturing and picking staff to put the orders together.

So if someone has ordered products 7, 2345, 497, 1982, 48, 413, 3290, 13, 1234, 5432, 89, which are then printed off on several pages, it's just unneccessarily complicated to view. If those could be rearranged automatically to:

... it makes things a whole lot easier to look at and reduces the chances of things being missed.

Hi Leon, I've marked this suggestion as 'not planned' as on further consultation with the UX/UI Team, this is not regarded as best practice in regard to how information is displayed and exported from your EKM online shop. However, if you contact your Ecommerce Expert, they will be able to help you formulate a template to help you set the numerical order of product codes per order in a set of orders on an exported spreadsheet. :)

That's a shame as it would make everyone's lives a lot easier. I assume 'best practice' is referring to the customer side of things where they'd want to see their Cart ordered as they've added things, otherwise it could be confusing. This suggestion was purely for back-of-house though, so we as shop owners can reorder the emails to make picking/manufacturing a lot more efficient.

I'll talk to our account manager about the spreadsheet option but when I've tried that in the past it's far too time-consuming having to manipulate/tweak a spreadsheet just to get the orders each day.
