Bulk stock level change within a category

We would like the ability to change the stock level on all products within a category to the same number. For instance, reset everything to 'zero' when we are doing a manual audit so that we can then count items back in. Or just reset everything to '20' on those items which are generally kept at a random level and we want to make sure nothing is OOS.
