Show estimated delivery date

It would be great if listings and checkout shows an estimated delivery date based on your default delivery service

We have different delivery times for products not in stock at the shop & items made to order. Some items may be 5 days, some can be 5 weeks. there is a need to show different delivery times for each product. Ideally to mark for example 5-7 days, 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks etc. etc..... depending on the supplier and the product.

Great suggestion! I was thinking of adding it as well. The estimated delivery date should be made visible on the product page so that customers can see it before adding to cart much like Amazon.

Having some sort of delivery date tag is required if you want to implement Google reviews onto your website.
This is a must - the amount of customers we get enquiring when they can expect delivery can be cut with something like this.

Use the promo stickers feature within each product, create a sticker with 'delivery in 5 days' and so on, and add these to the product image.
We do this on all our products using Photoshop to edit current promo stickers and uploading our own edited ones.

This would help me immensely, I’m having customers assuming orders go out the same day and would be perfect if it was a bit like Amazon/EBay showing estimated dates.
