Change customer order input to MOBILE instead of Telephone. It's crucial for tracking updates
It would help with the order process if the customer order input field for Telephone was changed to Mobile Number along with a short explanation informing the customer that couriers send tracking updates & notifications of failed delivery attempts to a mobile/smartphone but when sent to a landline they are unintelligible.
This helps with attempted/failed deliveries and stops mail being returned to sender. I'm forever emailing customers who have no idea a delivery attempt has occurred. It's way too time consuming.
Better still. Let us customize our own order forms.

Eve Bolan AdminHi Jon, I've marked this suggestion as 'Not Planned' as it is something that is already possible. If you contact the Customer Support Team, they are able to amend the language elements of that field of the Checkout Flow for you. You can amend the name of the Telephone field and the default text within it too. :)
