Invoice Layout: Variants shown separately like Options

It would be helpful if there was the option to choose how to display the variants on the Invoices.
At present all the variants are all grouped together in 1 section which makes the Invoice hard to read from the customers perception.
It would be helpful if they could be listed like the Options, when you view the item on the Invoice they are all listed and the customer can clearly see what has been ordered.
