Is it possible to product feed in xml format

customer are using the product feed for more and more 3rd party features, is it possible to produce a feed that is .xml rather than .txt

You can already export your product data as an XML file via the import/export tool.
Then you can upload the file to the Other Files section of the design area to make it accessible via a URL.
