Improvements to Invoices - EORI
Issue: invoice does not EORI info
Suggestion : Have additional EKM Account data that can add to EMKJ Account Profile, then Include this as options in Invoice. NOTE there is EORI and also additional “XI EORI” ( for Northern Ireland) - So would need to data Fields for both.
Workaround: using “Change Footer” Add additional Information necessary in Text Note: but no <BR> <P> and do not effect Footer for clarity.

Hannah Bradshaw MergedThis is not a suggestion, this is now required by law. Brexit January 2021. This number is required for shipping. It is not possible to Ship internationally without this number and it is ridiculous that at the moment we have to e-mail our customers for this number before we can fill in the shipping and send the goods.

Chris MergedWe need the ability to provide a commercial invoice for shipping purposes (non-UK customers) that includes Product, product composition, weight, Tariff code & Country Of Origin. I think this would require the info to be "pulled" from the Product info. Therefore Product info would need to have Fields for these details. Also, I have some situations where the Country Of Origin varies (within the same product) so the invoice fields would need to be editable please.

Matt Large MergedHi EKM - We've had that extra field for years on our site as was good practice to include this, and was used by us for the now obsolete EC Sales reporting.
We have this field BUT WE CANNOT MAKE IT MANDATORY AS IT'S FOR ALL CUSTOMERS INCLUDING THE MAJORITY WHO ARE UK CUSTOMERS .
SO AS FAR AS WE SEE IT NEEDS TO ONLY APPLY TO EU CUSTOMERS.
Could EKM possibly build in an auto EORI check using this website and check the validity of the EORI number ??:

In summary, we either ask for the Personal Tax number for EU consumers, or the EORI number for EU Businesses. Either is a must have, and couriers are sending the goods back to the UK if either is missing! (which we now avoid by ensuring one is entered), or if the number is invalid (in which case the couriers mainly sit on the packages for some time and after the customer not receiving the parcels after some time, we end up calling them to find this out)
