The ability to Verify the Age of a buyer in the checkout flow

  I'd like to include on here the ability to upload an image in the checkout flow so shop owners don't have to chase customers for a copy of ID to have proof of age verification

  As a website that sells age restricted items, we currently have to contact buyers after payment to ask for ID. This is frustrating for the buyer, if they miss our email request and do not make the dispatch cut off time. Having the ability to upload photo ID at checkout would enable us to have a more effective checkout process.

  I think that as an e commerce website builder, EKM should be able to offer a more robust age verification checker as part of its service. I have been told by my local council that a tick box or entering birth date is NOT robust enough to offer child protection for the purchase of alcohol. Since the sales of online alcohol is rising rapidly, this is something that EKM needs to take more seriously if it is to be a responsible provider.

  As Barbara has mentioned such a feature needs to be extremely robust for a business to be able to stand up to any legal challenge with confidence. At the very least provide integrations for reputable services that already provide age / id verification so that it can fit within the Checkout Flow.
  Age verification data fields section to product to configure individual products requiring age verification and minimum age for purchase. Also to be able to apply to whole Store or Category.
  Products with age restrictions to be clearly identified as such on the product page. New "promo stickers" or similar to display standard age verification and "no id / no sale" logos.
