  Hi Sue, you would need to manually send out a second email to the customers after they had confirmed their subscription containing the discount code. This is because the EKM online shop platform, and in particular the Discount Management feature - where you set up the discount code - is not linked and therefore does not 'talk to' EKM Email Marketing or other email newsletter platform.   I decided to try putting the code on the email that asks the customer to confirm their subscription and put some text that says the code won’t be activated until you confirm your subscription but so far everyone who has used the discount code has not confirmed their subscription so I have lost money in discounts for no gain. EKM make a big point of saying that Email marketing is the most effective way of marketing but how are you supposed to get people to sign up unless you offer an incentive.

  We would like to be able to offer our customers a discount for signing up to our newsletter however neither the email marketing or discount management feature allow this. It would be good if this was sent in the confirmation of sign up email automatically. It needs to be set up so that the code can be multi-use but only once per customer - currently this isn't available in discount management.
