Flash Sale Tool
A functionality that allows the creation of a flash sale with the following features:
1. The ability to reduce prices site/category wide by a percentage;
2. The option to choose whether the original price is displayed on the Product page besides the new flash sale price;
3. The option to add sale promo stickers or similar visual indicator to these products;
4. The option to set a start and end date on the flash sale - once the date has expired, all of the content returns to the former state.
The goal is to make setting up a flash sale take roughly two minutes, without having to amend the RRP field and apply promo stickers via Import/Export and set up a timed discount within the Discount Management feature, which is how the same offer would be set up currently.

but timer would countdown backwards, which give customers that extra nudge to purchase before the sale ends -

Tom MergedWhen having a sale event it would be so much easier to upload new banners before hand and be able to schedule when you want them to go live on the site, at the moment we're having to login and manually change them all when the sale starts. We schedule all our social media posts and it would make it all run much smoother if they were all in sync and would avoid us changing them late or forgetting to do it.

Denise MergedThis will reduce the admin of having to keep amending prices on individual products.
I know this can be done using the discount manager, but this does not show the price reduction for the customer.
Having an expiry time would automatically put the price back to the standard price. -

Kate MergedOne of the bains of my life is removing the NEW IN promo sticker manually (a right pain when you have over 1500 lines). It would be great to see a function whereby you could choose the length of time you would like a promo sticker to be live for, so that it automatically disappears (or stays forever, depending on what you need).

Mannidesperate need of this! :( adding the discount feature is not enough, customers need to see how much % they are getting off the product with the price marked down before and after!

Sean Kierans MergedThe old system is outdated, difficult to use and needs a lot of manual input to get the discounts people need.
We need a better discount management system that can automatically offer x for y discounts, by simply adding a product to it and overall price, rather than reducing the price by this much, automatically generated discount codes, being able to use discounts multiple times i.e if they trigger a 3 for x amount, and buy 6, the discount will trigger twice.
I used EposNow till system in my store and it's so much easier to set up discounts, literally takes minutes, I'd be happy to show someone that to give you guys an idea. But the old discount management system is rubbish, and leaves us lagging behind offering better discounts that others can offer on the likes of Shopify, etc. -

Rachel MergedThis would surely increase conversion as customers are drawn to 'sale items' when the price is shown in red, indicating a discount. It would be good if the sale period could also be specified so this goes back to the original price after the reduced period ends - this will save a lot of time and ensure items aren't accidentally left at a reduced price (can also actually end sales at midnight instead of during working hours). This is pretty standard practice across most platforms.

Sally MergedEnable the automatic reduction of Prices on products for a set period, currently we have to do this manually it would be much more user friendly if we could lower the price and auto apply the old price as the RRP to drive higher conversions. Then for it to revert to original price at the end of the campaign

Rachel MergedIt would be helpful if you could add a sale price to a product, and even specify how long this sale price is on for so it goes back to the original price automatically to save having to reset everything back manually the morning after the sale is supposed to end. Also would be good if the sale price was more clear ie. in red/bold to draw attention to the sale. Another benefit would be automatically stopping certain discount codes for being valid on sale priced items instead of the current method of having to individually untick every product the as and when you put it in the sale on every discount code you don't want to be used with a sale item. This would save so much time, especially for future Black Fridays!!!
