MOQ - Minimum Order Quantity on a product.
A product option that enforces a minimum order purchase (i.e. minimum order quantity of 3 - if a customer tried to order 2 an error modal would appear advising to add more)
A minimum order quantity (MOQ) is the lowest set amount of stock that a supplier is willing to sell. If you can’t purchase the MOQ of a specific product, then the supplier won’t sell it to you.
All MOQs vary, depending on the product.

Steve Jarvis MergedThis is actually a really good idea and would prove to be very useful when it comes to selected products and I'm speaking about unique and collectable products that customers will buy, perhaps hold them for a while and then sell them at much higher prices like on eBay.
It's what we Scalping/Scalpers as they are known.
Manufacturers are also starting to involved with this to prevent buyers from buying several of the same item then reselling them at ridiculously higher prices. -

ShawnI have voted for this as it's a feature we desperately need for our B2B orders.

Matthew Hyatt MergedI understand you can Specify minimum order amount on ALL products on your shop, but it would be good specify minimum order amount on a single product line

Chanel MergedI sell items that are limited edition and often want to only allow the purchase of one limited edition item per order but there is no realistic way of doing this. "Restrict item A to one per customer" would be very useful.

thomas StephensonPlease make this happen as this seems like it should have been a basic standard feature from the beginning.

Michelle Kerr Mergedi would like to be able to restrict the qty of some of the items in my shop that a customer can order at any one time. Eg: limiting a customer to only being able to purchase a maximum of a qty 5 of a product. Is this something that can be implemented?

Mark MergedThis would certainly be a useful feature to have. Most products we don't have a problem with but some promotional items and sample services do require us to constantly amend customer orders as they order multiples despite all details stating singular only.

Chris basett MergedThis would be very useful as from time to time we have very popular products and would like to limit how many a customer can order so that we can make it fair and give other customers the chance to purchase

Dave MergedHi,
I can see you have a minimum order quantity setting at: https://support.ekm.com/support/solutions/articles/44001056767-order-restrictions
However, this is global.
I would like to set minimum order quantity on certain products only.
This is very necessary for my shop.
Thanks. -
