Improve Blog SEO, to drive more traffic
The new blog feature lacks key capabilities required for SEO - 1) ability to add Alt Tags to images (essential for google recognising images), 2) inability to use Yoast, a key blog optimisation tool (the old blog had this feature, we've gone backwards in this respect)

Hi Eric, this suggestion has been marked 'not planned'. To clarify, Yoast is a plugin specific to the WordPress platform, and the Blogs feature is specific to the EKM online shop platform. Before the current Blogs feature, the older Blogs feature was indeed hosted on WordPress, which explains why Yoast was accessible previously.
If you need additional support and suggestions for increasing the visibility of your blog posts, please contact our Customer Support Team or visit support.ekm.com. A search for 'blog' will reveal a collection of articles created to help you promote your content.
Alternatively, if you want to use Yoast, you could open an independent blog using the WordPress platform and connect it to your EKM online shop by using the Social Plugins feature, selecting the blog icon, and adding the domain name of your Wordpress blog. I hope this helps!
